A double board-certified derm based in Reno, NV, Whitney spends her days cutting out skin cancer. With Tahoe in her backyard, she’s an avid skier, runner, and outdoor junkie who’s seen firsthand how young, active skin gets wrecked by the sun. Her goal? Fewer patients, more prevention—but still have fun outdoors.
Hillary Schieve
Hillary Schieve is a kidney transplant recipient, a life-saving gift that also means she’s up to 100 times more likely to develop skin cancer, a risk shared by many in the transplant community. A longtime advocate for accessible healthcare, Hillary believes sunscreen is one of the simplest, most affordable tools we have to fight skin cancer. She’s also an entrepreneur, small business owner, and a mayor.*
