At SPOOGE, our formulas use non-nano Zinc Oxide for broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection that sits on top of the skin to reflect UV rays. Mineral sunscreen protects immediately, is gentle on sensitive skin, and meets Hawaii’s reef-safe regulations.

Yes! All our formulas are developed by dermatologists and tested and approved for even the most sensitive skin.
Do SPOOGE products contain harmful chemicals?
We’re all about clean, transparent, and safe formulations—great for your skin and the environment. We formulate without harsh chemical sunscreen filters and known toxic ingredients. SPOOGE products are free from:

What is RIPT testing and is Spooge RIPT tested?
Yes! All SPOOGE products go through RIPT (Repeat Insult Patch Test). It’s a dermatological test that ensures no irritation or allergic reactions. We want to make sure our sunscreens are gentle for all skin types, and meet high safety standards.
Do any SPOOGE sunscreens protect against visible light?
Yes, our tinted formulas contain iron oxides which help even skin tone and protect against visible light linked to hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration—especially for those with melanin-rich skin.
